Impcoil, the Trickster Snake
From the quiet drawers of the Oddling Archive slithers Impcoil, a serpent brimming with mischievous energy. At first glance, you may find it curled neatly among your scrolls and notes, but look again, and you'll find your notes mysteriously shuffled, or it's swapped the labels on two specimens just to watch you puzzle it out. Archivists say that these serpents are never cruel, only playful, delighting in shadows and harmless tricks.
Weighted for comfort, Impcoil doubles as both a cuddly companion and a heatable familiar. Warm it gently to ease weary shoulders or keep it close on your desk as a watchful coil of cozy mischief.
Note from the Curator: These creatures are not intended for washing machines or harsh handling. They are companions of rest, quiet, and small magics. Treat them kindly, and they may just return the favor. See our section on Handling & Care of an Oddling Specimen for more field notes.
